Bring it neighbors!
We want to give our best to the athletes competing at the remaining qualifiers for this year's Games in Aromas. We know that throughout the country (as in Europe and Australasia already) these folks are trying to kill some hellacious workouts. Go get 'em boys and girls.
This guy can wait for us...
Here's a look at some of the fun from last weekend:
Talk about leaving a little bit of yourself behind on the field...
Apologies for the delay folks... Incredible work displayed today by everyone! Emily and Ruth, we were pulling so hard for you as you hung in there while blood dripped from your hands. Andy, Mike and Paul, representing with gusto for the um, over 30 crowd.
Some of the combacks were huge as athletes who went down hard to the heat and the workload were able to hydrate and recover enough to strap it back on and go hard for another good workout. And by good I mean, warm.
Kudos to T. Duchi, USN, for the field expedient ice bath... Nice!
See you all tomorrow!

Weather is expected to be nice. But we'll run this if it's hailing...
Beach Chairs and an Easy Up will be the rule of the day. There should be enough room for all to get comfortable. Coolers are okay. Dogs and booze are not.
Food will be available for purchase at a reasonable price in limited supply starting around noon.
- Bring any special items you need, there is about a 5 minute drive to a Whole Foods Market in a nearby restaurant district.
Water will be provided at the workouts. There will be running water at drinking fountains at the building next to the Medical area also. No alcohol is allowed, sorry.
Medical providers are here only for emergent incidents. We will have a small crew and supplies are limited. Bring your own chalk, tape, band-aids and antibiotic ointment for your hands please. The last two years have seen numerous athletes at the games tear their hands competing. Bring whatever medications you need, and if you even might need an inhaler please bring it.
Restrooms will be provided at the event. There are no showers for our use, just spotless facilities.
Parking will be free in the large asphalt lot at the Academy site. There is no overnight parking allowed on the site.
Special thanks go to Jeff and Mikki Martin (CrossFit Brand-X) and Ahmik and Krista Jones (CrossFit SoCal) for the tremendous guidance and effort they've provided for this event. They are striving to make this a positive venue for the Southern CA CrossFit community to develop and showcase CrossFit's best in our region.
Now let's hit it!
