Make sure to take your time to set up on the barbell properly
before your lifts. Avoid the "ripping the bar off the ground" mentality. You attempt that at a max weight you're bound to either fail the lift OR hurt yourself.
Wouldn't hurt to "Ommmm" before the lift either...get you shakras aligned. Don't forget Yoga at 6pm!!

"The deadlift is more functional in that it’s very hard to imagine a more useful application of strength than picking heavy shit up off the ground" -Mark Rippetoe

Oh crap! I meant to include my numbers.
They were 5 X 125, 145, 155, 160, 170. 1 X 175 and 180.
Plus I did 30 situps between sets.

Good job Suzie! That tag team has helped me before as well...awesome support!
Coming back from a migraine yesterday, I didn't do too badly...125#_165#. Steph, couldn't keep up with your numbers. Rock on!

It's official! I can deadlift more than I weigh! Coach Nat, you made all the difference tonight. Thank you again. Thanks, also, to Kari for watching and not letting me give up. Of course watching you walk up and lift that same bar without any effort was awesome too. You and Nat made this happen for me!
