Omnipotent Judley.....I'm enlightened. I will take your inspiring words into consideration as I mod the heck out of tomorrow w/my bum calf. Luckily, Corgi legs are small, so it's just a tiny strain :) I'll work up to the thoroughbred next week. Gosh, you sure know how to make a girl feel special, I've always dreamed of being called a thoroughbred :)
9:30 pull ups, dips (w/skinny red band) & 24" box step ups. Good to see ol Adam back in town! My paws hurt, tomorrow should be interesting.

Suzie, your encouragements are kind, but I fear may only produce more blathering from this idiot...but thanks...c'mon stop it some more.

Jud, I've said it before and I'll say it again, you missed your calling. Please consider starting a blog so that those of us who giggle and snort at your posts can do so more often.
11:27 with 16" box jumps, blue band for pull ups and green band for dips.
But that's not the real news here. After the WOD, I decided it was time to tackle my nemesis and I jumped onto the 20" box. Yep, no help this time. While Denise was not there, a shout out goes to her for helping me get on that box the last two times. Thanks to Mariah too for all her subtle and constant encouragement. Today was a good day.

PS. Did you see the 40" box that Chris did? It's way the HECK up there. He's no "white boy".

9:38--35" box...shoulda done the big boy..next time.
Fun to watch Jules bounce today. 'nuff said.
Betsy, as I begin my career as a life coach, I wonder if you would consider my humble words into your life. Perhaps it's time to put down the whole "Corgi Identity". Might you consider thinking of yourself as a thoroughbred mare or a bounding doe, it suits you and may help unlock your potential to speed, grace and virtuosity. Self talk can be such an imperative for change and growth, I hope you'll consider this gentle shift.
Until our next session, as always in fondness and with no regard for my own blind spots,
jud
