When We Do It

  • CrossFit Marina Organized Workouts:
    Monday-Friday 05:30, 06:00, 06:30, 08:15, and 09:15 (Please come at class time only!!). If you're late please workout at the next class! Monday - Thursday 4:15, 5:15 and 6:15 pm. Friday 4:15 and 5:15 pm Saturday 08:00 and 09:00. We are closed Sundays.

Cost

  • Monthly or Daily -
    On a Drop-In basis: $20.00. Monthly Unlimited visits are: $170.00

I forgot to post last night!! Must be my delerium from head pain on the ghds...damn those things!!
10:07 w/95# Followed by a DECADENT meal at Spaghettini's with my hubby who turned 45 yesterday. :) What?! I work out...I can burn off creme brulee.

8:59 with 65# back squats and GHD to level or parallel.

OK, so weird thing..."perspicacity" has nothing to do with perspiring...who knew. Enjoy the pain!

Jud, as always your perspicacity and caring never disappoint. That's a classic video and a great point that you make. This darn GHD movement is for flexion of your hip joint, not your torso. Don't curve your belly forward like an abmat sit up or you WILL experience low back pain.

The MOD is good 'ol Abmat sit ups on the ground. If you are in doubt on these mess around with the GHD before or after the workout but use the regular sit ups for the WOD. Watch the vid!

Thanks Jud. Now if they could just fix the dizzy feeling I get when I do GHD's I'd be good to go. Sometimes they make me feel like I just got off a bad roller coaster.
