Repeats o'plenty! Bring your favorite running shoes. Start at around 50 percent of your full speed and keep an eye on the feel of your lower back, hips and hammies as you fatigue.
Pick a standard for the day. Either fast as you can (once warmed up fully) for 5-7 rounds based on form, or as many as you can at a 5K pace (8 or less rounds).
8 rounds of:
Run 400 meters
Rest 90 seconds
Your score is your total time not including an 8th rest period.
Follow with a good series of nice looooong stretches.
Go Angels!

Wow Bets, that's quite an account of the WOD.
30:14 for me and I'm happy with that. I got faster near the end. Most 400's were about 2:30. I got it down to 2:25 and the last one was 2:23.
Monday I start Lean Eating Coaching with Dr. John Berardi. It's a year-long program. I'll keep you posted. The hardest part is going to be taking pictures in a 2-piece and getting someone to do the pinch-fat caliber test for me every 3 months. I know, that's not a visual any of you needed. Cover your eyes:)

Whatever! The only thing I can vouch for is that my first run was 1:46 and I'm stoked for that, but then I got all discombobulated and took longer rests cause I can't add, was hot, was waiting for Nicole & John to just pass me, my knee flared up at the end of the 6th lap and I rowed the last two. Total grab bag wod for me. Oh and I started w/50 push ups....awesome. Thanks Denise :) Just kiddin...not leaving my pool all weekend! See you all Monday!
