Rain or shine, come have a blast. We'll modify with a row if needed. And, no need to bring a twinky for this one.
For time:
Run 800 meters
10 rounds of the couplet:
Knees to elbows, 10 reps
Hug-a-twinky, 10 reps
Run 800 meters
Awesome good luck to Tom D., repping in the AZ Police and Fire Games' CrossFit event today. Kill it mister!
And if you want to see some other savages going at it with high intensity and volume just stay local and go cheer Brian, John and Doug at the Next Level event at Laguna Hills High School tomorrow. Edgar is supposed to be the concierge for the food trucks and there should be an easy up or two (the rain should be gone by then!).
For those taking fish oil who may have seen this article don't despair. IF you have a history of previous cardiovascular disease they found no benefit in prevention of additional issues. For those of us who have not had any coronary isues there are still many benefits and good support in the literature for taking omega 3 fish oil. The interesting point is that the experts agree, a few capsules a day won't cut it. You need at least 3gms a day on the low end to get the benefits.

I was there. I witnessed the miracle of Overachieving Joey...the heavens did open up! Maybe he can do it again tomorrow so we don't have to do all the 400m runs! :) Just no locusts.
As for tonight...I did the math.....no wonder I have raw paws, ouch! 100 k2e and more pull ups romorrow. I prefer my Twinkies frozen, but for tonight: 23:56

And I'm with you, Joe. Why called it a twinky? Some things should be sacred:)

So let me tell you the power of Joey, muscle up boy. The 5:15 class consisted of Joey, Betsy, John and myself led by Chris. The warm up had lots of running and Joey said he really didn't want to run. Joey asked if he could run and row. I never heard a response but all of us started out with our 800m run. Then we all did our couplets. Just as Joey, John and Bets were getting ready to start their 2nd 800m run, the heavens opened and it started pouring. Now, I'm a little in awe of Joey if he is in close enough with the guy upstairs that he can orchestra a downpour just so that he could row!
The 3 of them starting rowing as I finished my couplets. But there was only 3 rowers out. Enter Chris the super trainer to the rescue. He ran through the storm to get another rower. Both he and the rower were soaked yet he dried the rower off just as I was ready for it. Thanks Chris!
Time? Oh yeah, 26.45
