9:37 w/125#dl and walking handstands in baby steps, but actually got some legit walks in there like 3 or 4 in a row!! Progress :)

So here's my hybrid WOD post board meeting...
Grab 1st dog and run .8 miles (1300m).
Grab 2nd dog and run .8 miles (1300 m).
Chris and I then went to LA Fitness and did the WOD
Deadlift and shoulder or pushpress
21 at 95#, 15 @ 115#, and 9 at 135#, shoulder and pushpress @45#
Come home and..
Grab 1st dog and run .8 miles
Grab 2nd dog and run .8 miles

Regarding Pearl Harbor, my dad was just out of high school and entered the Navy. He was assigned to the Destroyer, USS Kidd. The Kidd was a new ship named for the Real Admiral of the USS Arizona. Admiral Kidd went down with his ship.

Thanks Jud...that's my "broken doll" model pose. It's a shame Deb and I are so shy..it took us about a nano-second to strike a pose. :)
Suzie...LOTS you can do, the one I did at the beach house in Hawaii was 5 rounds of: 25 walking lunges, 25 burpees, 25 squats, 10 hspu [but you could easily substitute push ups for that]. Don't forget about sit ups, plank holds, all those great ab/leg lift things we've done on Saturdays and there's always your favorite: a run around the block! Or just do dips...chips & dip that is, chips & salsa, whatever. Report back to us! :)

I'll miss you guys today; it's board (bored) meeting night.
I'm going to try a workout in our garage tonight. I don't have any equipment.
If anybody wants to throw out suggestions for a body weight workout, I'd appreciate it.
BTW, what would be the mod or substitution for handstand walks?
