Unknown and unknowable? Show and find out. Give ya a hint; today's work shouldn't take you longer than about 15 minutes, almost active recovery.
UPDATE:
Heads up. Next week Monday the 14th, from 4:00pm to around 8:00pm the truck from Fitness Wave will be here for a good dunking. Get a number on your lean mass before the holidays. The hydrostatic testing they provide is a great way to assess where you're at right now. Anyone willing to wager on how they'll emerge from the holidays, leaner, meaner? The paleo challenge should be a nice start.
Just a day or two into this challenge and you shouldn't be feeling hungry. "So what of this paleo gig? It's not that bad." A couple things you may notice early on: you're dumping water (your cells retain much less water when you decrease the $h!//y carbs and salt intake). You may also have an adaptation period of feeling like you have a little less energy. This will fix itself within around ten to fourteen days as your body gets back to a less processed energy source.
What's another motivator for eating smartly? Here's one, an important post published by Dr. W. Davis. "Small LDL particles are triggered by consumption of carbohydrates. Eat more 'healthy whole grains,' for instance, and small LDL particles skyrocket." Read on.

Who knew I was part frog? Leaping lizards! Exhausting, but oddly fun, 11 minutes tonight! :)

Now that it is 6:00pm....,
those broad jumps after the burpees were brutal.
Jud: I am putting together a group to buy the Dodgers. I need about 1 billion more.

Ok, jud ur right about Vegas so I won't post my dessert I had last night...lol
But seriously I ate my first meal paleo today and spent 60$ for Blair and I!!! Some frekin burgers and Italian sausage off some outdoor food truck?! But then I just bought a bottle of grey goose for $20??!!! Really not fair... I guess I'll make up for the food at a real dinner and just use water and Russian water to get me there!!

Ok, so this got a little out of hand...but I love it.
Suzie here's what I'm thinking: You prepare that Fetzer valve with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads. And you're gonna need 'bout ten quarts of anti-freeze, preferably Prestone. No, no make that Quaker State.
As for foot wear, I went with Prada. Happy Wodding.

How about a one-piece snow suit? Would that cover everything that can get dinged tonight?

Mittens and maybe some kind of knee protection...it hurts a little when you fall off your hands and land on a knee.

Si el jefe. Te gusto El Pollo Loco?
Posted by: So Long Carbs Suzie | November 03, 2011 at 13:30
15 minutes was about right.
Denise, thanks for helping me with my form and going barefoot.

HILARIOUS!!! I'm on it!!! Better be careful what you ask for, Juan has been known to make In N Out runs for the office. :) Mitten, mittens...where ARE my mittens?
Posted by: Betsy Young | November 03, 2011 at 12:34
Okay, such a hard WOD; I'm feeling bad for the PM'ers. Here you are Hard-at-work-Suze and 'Besty', let's see. For tonight's WOD bring a warm jacket, some mittens and those Ugg boots if you have a pair.
Bets, If you see Juan at work, tell him to bring two double doubles w/cheese from In and Out, protein style, extra raw onions (pay-lee-oh!). I'll pay him when he gets here. And he'll need some lycra, with running boots.
Suzie, anything in pollo, one or two servings. I'll have the cash for you.
Sound good Jud?

So Jud, what happens at Marina, stays at Marina?
Betsy, I'm right there with you, both on the choices, and on the 15 minutes. Well we all know if they say 15 minutes, I can just about double it to predict my time. Yikes, mommy!
Posted by: So Long Carbs Suzie | November 03, 2011 at 11:52
Jud, I'll be there later. Don't ya wanna share, pretty please?
Posted by: Surviving sans carbs Suzie | November 03, 2011 at 11:42
Jeez Jud, what is this, Fight Club? I'm all about a mystery grab bag, but there are things to plan...pants, shoes, nourishment, etc. Suzie, we'll just pony up...we can do ANYTHING for 15 minutes, right? Uh oh. :)
Posted by: Betsy Young | November 03, 2011 at 11:42
Two words Kim: Game Face
Suzie, just like they say about stories from Vegas..."Wanna know, gotta go"
Nice to see almost everyone this am. Where can I find on line pictures of Edgar's meals?
Posted by: Jud | November 03, 2011 at 11:06
Where are the AM reports? Are you keeping the WOD under wraps?
